Everyone is putting together “gift guides for men.” But I’ll be honest – I don’t know what “men” like! So I asked Tom and he said pretty much echoed my lack of knowledge. But what he DOES know – is what outdoorsmen like! So we put together this list of gifts for guys who like the outdoors. We tried to cover everything from stocking stuffers to big gifts.
These are all things that Tom uses almost daily – especially during deer season. We hope this makes your holiday shopping a little easier!
- Vortex Binoculars – an investment but the only pair of binoculars he’ll ever need
- Hunter Safety Lifeline – comes as a single or a 3 pack. what wife doesn’t want to know that her guys is safe way up there in the stand
- Makita Cordless Fan – whether you’re working in your garage or a hunting shed, this fan is portable and puts off great air
- Bow and Gear Holders – great stocking stuffers. Tom says you can never have enough
- Smartwool Socks – Tom has turned me on to these and they are AMAZING. even if you’re just playing in the snow. they keep you warm but don’t make you sweat!
- Carhartt Vest – any guy who spends time outside needs warm gear. this vest is the perfect layering piece and comes in a handful of colors
- Chemical Guys Car Washing Kit – my husband would wash his car daily if he could. and these are his favorite products that leave no streaks or water spots on your car
- Under Armour Men’s GORE-TEX Boots – footwear is most important when you’re spending time outside
- Vortex Optics Laser Rangefinder – another investment gift but a rangefinder is a critical piece of a hunters arsenal
- Knives of Alaska – a great quality hand knife that can be used for anything from trimming limbs to skinning a fish
- Makita Handheld Blower – this goes with #7 for any guy who likes to wash his car. Tom uses this to dry his car after he’s done washing it
- Thermacell Portable Mosquito Repellent – we use these mosquito repellents for all types of outdoor adventures, from camping to movie nights outside. Tom also uses them in the deer stand to keep the mosquitos away.
- Reconyx Trail Camera – this is Tom’s top of the line trail camera pick
- Rage Hypodermic Broadhead – the best arrow broadhead a bowhunter can use
- Cuddeback Trail Camera – a good quality trail camera at amore affordable price
- Carhartt Overalls – this is the key piece to the Carhartt “outfit”. the overalls keep your legs and chest warm but layered under the vest and jacket its the perfect setup
- Under Armour Camouflage Hat – what guy couldn’t use another hat in their collection
There are a few other items that any outdoorsman could use. Hot Hands Hand Warmers and Toe Warmers are clutch for your time spent outside. Keeping your extremities warm helps you to last longer and stay focused on your adventure. Hand and Toe Warmers are even great for kids during cold sporting events or bonfires.
Most outdoorsmen have ATVs that need to be cleaned and for that Tom uses the Annovi Pressure Washer. This electric pressure washer puts out enough power to clean the muddiest of vehicles.
There’s nothing worse than getting a new “toy” and not having the components that go with it. Deer trail cameras need USB cards and batteries, both of which make great stocking stuffers.
