Baby Registry Round-Up

This weekend I got the chance to celebrate a close college friend and her baby girl on the way. Living away from home means that I miss most all of these local events. Which yes, totally stinks! I hate it, every single time! But it just makes being home and being present at something like this even more special. And who doesn’t love shopping for a baby! I mean, come on! Tiny clothes. Tiny snot suckers. Tiny diapers. Gimme all of it!

I really love being able to give some of our favorite items as gifts. Now that P is almost 2 (insert hysterial sobs…of freedom!! As we approach potty training and NO MORE DIAPERS!) I love being able to recommend items that we used daily. When I did my baby registry I had NO CLUE what was going on! I walked about Buy Buy Baby like a zombie as my sister lead the way with a scan gun and a trigger happy finger! And I complained NONE! Just tell me what I need and mostly what I DON’T NEED!

As a new mom, or soon-to-be new mom, you have no clue what is useful and what is just another hunk-of-junk to collect dust in your house. So when I checked this new momma’s baby registry and she had a ton of our “must haves” it made my heart so happy! She totally knows what shes doing! I decided to do a round-up of all the things we used when P was a newborn. Now that this stage is over I can truthfully say what we used on a DAILY basis and what was CLUTCH for our tiny human survival!
