We recently tried a fun little baking project and I could not wait to share with you guys! Bake at home, all natural & organic dog treats! Thats right! You can bake your own treats, for your pooch at your convenience! And the best part – they’re made from real food. Not only did Charlie LOVE this little project, but so did Parker. And I’m not going to lie…I didn’t mind it either 😉 Y’all know I’m not a cook. Or even a baker. But Knead Love has made these bake at home dog treats easy as 1, 2, 3 (literally) with minimal clean up!

Here’s how it works:
Open the container and remove the piping bag and the metal ring that holds it in the jar.
Empty the contents of the jar into the piping bag.
Fill the jar with water to the designated water line and pour into the piping bag.
Tie the piping bag closed and knead the contents into a paste-like consistency.
Cut the end of the piping bag
Squeeze/pipe/dollop the contents onto a cookie sheet.
Press/pat the dough into the size/shape of treats that you desire.
Bake according to the instructions in the box
And now for the best part….
The number 1 reason we love these all natural, bake at home dog treats: they are healthy for your pooch! We all seem to be so concerned about what we’re feeding ourselves and our kiddos, but how often do we consider the dog? They deserve to eat just as clean and healthy as we do, right?! And let me tell you – this stuff is legit! We baked the cheese & carrot flavor and you could see the flecks of carrots in the mix. And unlike most dog treats that smell like rubber…the smell of these was divine!
Three available flavors:
- peanut butter & banana
- chicken & sweet potato
- cheese & carrot
Don’t throw away your jar – its a great place to store your treats!
After about 7 days of the treats sitting in the container they started to grow mold. Some people may find this bothersome but the reality is — thats a good sign! That means they are natural! Made of real food! No preservatives and fake “stuff”. What more can you give your pooch.
