From Spring Training to hotter-than-hot Missouri spring, we’ve been living in cooler attire for the last few months. So I decided to round up a few of my faves in case you too are dying in a heat wave!
1. Fringe cover up – not only does it come in over 17 colors, but it’s less than $18!! Sheer, light weight, and oober flattering.
2. Waterproof sandals – a friend introduced me to these last summer and they have been my saving grace! They’re cute and practical! No more slipping around the pool deck! These babies are 100% water proof and come in a wide variety of fun patterns. Oh and did I mention they’re comfy as all get out!!
3. Bathing Suit – yes! I am still squeezing myself into this suit…I apologize to all of the peeps at my neighborhood pool!! But it really is the best suit I’ve purchased in a few years — and right now it’s BOGO mix and match pieces
4. Sunscreen – I hate applying sunscreen on myself and especially Parker. But I’m obsessed with this new mineral sunscreen! It comes in a stick (bc what kid likes sunscreen on their face), a non aerosol spray, and a lotion — and they ALL smell so good!!
5. Festive tassel earrings – these SoLayne Designs favorites come in a variety of colors and are perfect for the pool or an evening out on the town.
6. Sunnies – my favorite “el cheapo” sunnies that can get scratched, cracked, or even lost in the ocean and its AYE OK!! But in the meantime they look adorable on!!
7. Hats – who doesn’t love a fun hat?!?! Especially the ones with clever (maybe slightly offensive) sayings! (wink wink)
8. Wedge sandals – let’s face it, sometimes the comfy rubber flip flops just aren’t cuttin’ it! Ya know, like on vacation. Or prancing around a Las Vegas pool deck. A block wedge is a safe way to get a little height!
