Last week my long time favorite blogger turned new friend, Mary Powers, and I hosted a girls night out at my long time favorite store Evereve. It was a fun, laid back night of shopping with our favorite friends, cocktails, snacks, and best of all…a discount.
We both were able to wear head to toe EE….which we both ended up purchasing at the end of the night. Ha ha. Mary’s sweater is the most amazing thing I’ve ever laid my eyes on! It’s like a highly skilled barber took an electric razor to a sherpa! Like come on!! It would be perfect for holiday parties or running to the grocery store on a cold winter day. Her jeans are cropped but have the cutest little flare to them at the end. And my jeans….well let’s just say they give LLR a run for their money 🙂 I’ve never worn Kut from the Kloth until this night, but they are my new favorite jeans. For under $90, the stretch, high waist, and just the overall softness of the denim – they are a win in every department. I had my eye on this “sweatshirt” for a few weeks and I’m so thankful I finally pulled the trigger! I guess it’s technically a sweatshirt because it does pullover your head with bands at the waist and cuffs, but you can’t get much more feminine than the large floral print. Obsessed is an understatement. And well…these shoes are on MAJOR repeat. They speak for themselves.
The girls at the local store have become more like friends than sales associates! They are the kindest soles 🙂 And being moms themselves, they totally get the “kid thing”. Every time we go, they offer to entertain Parker or at least feed her goldfish until her little hearts content. They have the cutest style, understand mom body “issues”, and also put zero pressure when you’re shopping. You can read more about my genuine love for Evereve here in the first post I ever wrote about this store. The concept is genius! Started by an amazing SAHM named Megan (go figure! ha ha. JK) who has worked for years to carefully curate a brand FOR MOMS! Keeping us in check with fashion reality but also with our post-baby bodies!
We had a great turnout and one of my highlights was meeting this adorable mom and daughter blogger duo. Katie and Lydia of OhDarling Blog are quite possibly the sweetest, most stylish duo from two different generations I’ve ever met. They are #goals in every sense of the word! I can only hope that Parker takes an interest in clothing and we can share a passion for fashion (or even better a closet) like these two!
I’ve had a few people ask about our event and what it “requires” to host an event at Evereve. ANYONE can host a fun girls night out for their friends! And what’s even better — you can choose for your guests to get 15% off their purchases OR to donate 15% of the sales to a charity of your choice. How cool is that! Happy Hump Day
