Every year when a “cold” front moves through in August and the temps drop below sweltering, I get the itch to look ahead to autumn. Besides the warm tones, the textures, and the muted colors, I love the neutral pieces trending in home decor for fall 2022.
To clarify, I’m not immediately putting up pumpkins and kissing summer goodbye. But with our new house and celebrating holidays for the first time here, I’m eager to find new things. I want items that fit my style, pieces that are timeless, and most importantly, I want to stay within budget. Needless to say, I’m more than a little excited about the upcoming seasons.
Per the usual, Kirklands and World Market are two of my top choices for decor. They always bring the best each season and these home decor for fall 2022 collections are no exception.

What do you love most about fall? I love crisp, sun soaked, lazy Sunday mornings. All these throw blankets make me want to start a fire in the fireplace, snuggle up under them, and drink my coffee.
I’m not rushing for summer to end. But, with items like these and school back in full swing, I am definitely looking forward to the weather and season changing for good.
