Leopard is the new neutral! No. But really. It is! It goes with everything! And clearly my obsession with leopard print shoes is just that…an obsession! Whether they’re flats or pumps or anything in between, you truly can not go wrong with a pair of leopard kicks.
Here are just a FEW of my favorite looks with some leopard staples…
Leopard Pumps
Mixing prints and patterns is always a good idea. And leopard (remember, it’s now a neutral) can go with any print. Especially floral. I love love LOVE these pumps with colored denim and a floral sweater.
One of my all time favorite looks is a bit edgier. But what momma doesn’t like to feel a little edge every now and again 😉 Again, pattern mixing but this time with camo. If you don’t have a camo jacket in your closet, girl you’re missing out!! So put a camo jacket with a lace cami (which is also a closet staple…read here) and a pair of joggers….DANG GIRL! You can’t go wrong! Such a fun date night look!
And for a more causal look…let’s say for Thanksgiving dinner or a girls night…pair them with skinny jeans and an oversized camel turtleneck. Every girl needs a chunky turtleneck in their winter repertoire. So why not make it a versatile color! Camel goes with black or denim any day of the week!
Leopard Ankle Boots
Ok confession. It took me a bit to get on board with the tall ankle booties. I just felt like my legs were too short. But the problem was actually that my jeans were too long 😉 I’ve found the best ankle jeans around with killer stretch and no sag (shop here). So now that that problem is solved, I’m all about the tall, structured ankle booties.
Leopard booties add a fun little pop of spice to a very basic look of black denim and a cable knit sweater.
Or how about business up top and party down low?!?! The perfect transition from the office to “after work drinks” with your girlfriend. Take a black blazer and lace cami from business to edgy and party.
Leopard Mules
These may be the best investment you will ever make! Truthfully! If the pumps are too high or the booties too bold…then the mule is for you! Seriously!! Not only is it comfy, but it can be casual or dressy.
You can literally wear these with jeans and a T shirt. And you see what I mean….
Either jean shorts OR skinny jeans, these mules add something a little fun to a basic outfit.
Or pair them with a pencil skirt or black dress. Incorporate them into your business casual wardrobe and you can never go wrong! A pencil skirt and a striped top. Or a black dress and camo jacket.
