We’ve moved since this photo was taken (details of the new house to come) but boy do I miss this front porch! This simple fall front porch decor was one of my most favorite ways I decorated that porch in the 8 years we lived there. Our oversized door mat is still one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. I often times layer it with a smaller seasonal rug over the top. Using black lanterns is always my “go to” on a porch. I just think that this is a really timeless look and if you fill lanterns with battery powered candles, you can really set an awesome glow at night. The best part of this fall front porch decor, in my opinion, are the white planters. These were actually traditional terra-cotta pots that Tom painted white for me. I just think that the white offers a crisp, clean, pop against the dark, warm colors of fall.
