January Aerie Try On

In my content polls for 2020 I asked what stores you guys shopped at the most. And much to my surprise American Eagle and Aerie were two of the most requested retailers. I don’t usually shop here often, but after doing a little research online it looked like Aerie may have quite a few bump friendly options. None of these are maternity but work with the bump.

I styled all of these with leggings, but if you’re not pregnant they would be adorable tucked into the waist of jeans or jean shorts.

A few things you’ll see over and over again in each outfit:

Maternity Leggings: run TTS. wearing a small. (other black maternity leggings HERE)

Earrings: lightweight and perfect for every day. come in a handful of colors

UGG Boots: run TTS. wearing a 7.

Outfit 1

Oversized Knit Sweater: oversized. runs TTS in my opinion. wearing a small here. would still wear a small without the bump. love the long length and the side slits to cover your booty in leggings

Outfit 2

Oversized Waffle Sweater: very oversized. wearing a medium here but had to roll up the sleeves. I wanted a very oversized look. could have gotten away with a small. recommend your regular size for oversized look or go down one size

Outfit 3

Chenille Turtleneck Sweater: runs TTS. wearing a small. this might be my favorite piece. the softest thing you’ve ever put on. love the detail around the cuffs and hem. the slits make it again, perfect for leggings

Chenille V-Neck Sweater: I didn’t try this one on but it felt equally as soft

Outfit 4

Super Soft Sweatshirt: runs TTS. wearing a small. meant to be oversized. the inside is regular sweatshirt material but the outside is a very soft microfleece-like feel. slits on the side make it great for leggings.

Outfit 5

Raw Hem Camo Half-Zip Sweatshirt: runs TTS. wearing small. meant to hit right at the top of your waist. lightweight makes it great for spring. would need a medium to wear it with this bump but then it might be too boxy. perfect for anyone without the baby bump

Outfit 6

Sherpa Pullover Snap Collar Sweater: runs TTS. wearing small. meant to be oversized. love the olive green color. comes in a ton of other colors. cozy and warm.

Outfit 7

Plaid Sherpa Long Coat: runs TTS. meant to be oversized. wearing a small and could button around the bump. absolutely love this one and the colors.

Outfit 8

Softest Hoodie Sweatshirt: runs TTS. wearing a small. meant to be oversized. it really is the softest basic hoodie.

Camo Jogger Sweatpants: runs TTS. wearing a medium here (only size they had in the store) but would definitely need a small.

Outfit 9

Leopard Oversized Raw Hem Sweatshirt: runs TTS. meant to be oversized. wearing a small. sleeves are baggy but cuffs hit at just the right spot and have a tight cuff band. love the raw hem.

Leopard Relaxed Sweatpant Shorts: runs TTS. wearing a medium here because of the bump but would normally need a small.
