I finally made it over to Nordstrom this weekend and was pleasantly surprised at what I found! Online so many things are “sold out” but in the store I found QUITE A FEW gems and basics.

These Kut from the Kloth Donna high rise jeans are to die for! I have a hard time with high waisted jeans (because I’m so short waisted) but these are fabulous! Truthfully, Kut from the Kloth is one of my favorite brands of denim to date. Great quality at a really reasonable price. These in particular are super stretch, perfect ankle length for a 5’3” gal, and the most comfortable waist band. I paired these with this adorable paisley print top with covered button detail. I loved this blouse initially for the pattern but now can see it being a functional piece in my wardrobe. From sneakers and jeans for a casual girls date to black skinny jeans and boots for a night out…it could even pair with black slacks for work! I absolutely love it! And my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE part of this outfit are these gorgeous Linea Paolo cutout leather wedge sneakers.

I can’t rave about these Linea Paolo cutout leather wedge sneakers enough! I’ve been eyeing wedge sneakers for a few seasons and never committed to a pair. But man am I thankful I waited! These are the best I’ve ever seen! The woven leather in the front with the cutouts on the side make them unique to all the others I’ve seen. And not to mention comfort! They are oh so comfortable!

Same Kut from the Kloth Donna high waisted denim. Same Linea Paolo cutout leather wedge sneakers. But a totally different look with the Thread & Supply fleece pullover. This thing is SO COZY! So cozy that I was sweating bullets in the dressing room trying it on! I love the detailing in the contrasting colors as well as the length – its perfect for leggings.

This Halogen faux fur leopard coat is one of my favorites from this sale! It’s so good that I wish I didn’t already own one…because I want THIS ONE! Many fur coats I’ve tried are stiff, too structured, and tight across the chest. This one is NONE of these. The length is just long enough to make it look elegant and the hook and eye closure in the front is great detail.

I’ve yet to try the Zella Crop Live In Leggings and I feel like I’ve been missing out. These leggings perfect for everyday wear. I don’t know if I would trust these leggings for a sweaty hour long cycle session, but for every day wear they are perfect! Not only are they high waisted to hold all the “things” in, but they have side pockets. The fabric doesn’t seem like the type that would pick or pile over time and is nice enough that you could dress it up for everyday wear. I paired it with these Caslon suede perforated wedge sneakers – another AMAZING find. These run snug in the toe box, so go up a size, but other than that they are perfect for fall and winter. I paired them with a basic black layering tee and and this Caslon oversized teddy jacket. This definitely runs large – I’m wearing a small, but would size down to an X-small.

This is the perfect casual everyday look for running errands, shuttling kids around town, grocery shopping, or even a travel day. Same Zella Crop Live In Leggings. Same Caslon suede perforated wedge sneakers. I layered with my new favorite BP v-neck layering T-shirt and the coziest Topshop oversized open front cardigan. My absolute favorite thing about this cardigan are the slits on the side – it closely resembles a poncho. The large pockets on the front and the different size ribs in the fabric make it unique to other cardigans. This will be my GO TO outfit all fall!
