Overalls {They're Back}

Who would have ever thought overalls would come back in style?!?! NOT ME! But this southern belle is sure glad that they did! I vividly remember my first pair of overalls — in the 5th grade, from Old Navy, they were brown corduroy (I know…sounds hideous), and I wore them with a pair of clogs (also back in style and see some of my favorites here). So the overall craze takes me back…just a few years ha ha. I was searching for the perfect pair that didn’t look like they were purchased from the tractor supply or weren’t age appropriate.

One night recently we were on our way out for a rare date and I convinced Tom to pop in the outlet mall to check quickly for my favorite jeans at Gap Factory (read why I love them here). And there they were…hanging right by the dressing room. Tom cringed when I tried them on and double cringed when I purchased them but WHAT DOES HE KNOW? I love that they are high waisted AND crop. This actually gives a very feminine flare and the bow detail doesn’t hurt 😉
