Splurge vs Steal – Target Shoe Edition

It’s no secret that I love shoes! Like LOVE shoes! I like clothes. But I love shoes! The way I see it, they always fit! Your weight may fluctuate and clothes may fit differently. But shoes…they always fit 😉

And Target is killing the shoe game right now! They have SO many amazing, good quality versions of higher end designer stuff. These are just a FEW of the great shoes they have right now and how they compare to the designer version. Remember — if the shoe fits….

One word of advice – order these babies ONLINE but for IN-STORE PICKUP. Most stores are selling out of these pretty quickly. So they will be hard to find locally. But if you order online and request an in-store pickup then you don’t have to pay for shipping 😉 And who doesn’t go to Target once a week anyway 😉

1. Espadrilles are SO in this season! And I love it! These cognac Espadrilles are the PERFECT color for any closet. They go with denim, white, and would look gorgeous with a blue and white oxford. You can wear them with dresses or pants. The possibilities are endless. And they’re comfy 😉

2. And here – proof that espadrilles are the spring shoe! These leopard print beauties are selling out left and right. I had to track down the last pair in our area after searching through 4 Targets! ha ha. This combo of a slide and an espadrille is genius!

3. I’ve loved oxfords for as long as I can remember. I love the concept of a masculine shoe made feminine! And what says feminine better than shiny silver. I’m obsessed! Wear these to work or a casual Sunday brunch. I love them!

4. Ok – this shoe was EVERYWHERE in the fall. Like EVERYWHERE! And the original version was insanely expensive. So of course, in due time, Target always does it! And thank goodness they did. Because they nailed it! What a fun transition shoe that you can still use well into fall.

5. I have these booties (the Target version) and they are AMAZING! They are sewn into this slouchy formation so they don’t move. You know, sometimes you want a little more coverage than an ankle bootie but you don’t want to wear a tall boot. These are the perfect mix. And oh so comfy!

6. Transitioning from seasons can be tricky with shoes. But this peep toe, open heeled bootie is PERFECTION! And Target’s version of Vince Camutos masterpiece is even better! Especially considering the price. This would be adorable with a floral dress in the spring!
