The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is always a great time to shop some of the more high end brands and grab your favorites on sale. There are a few brands that I always look for in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Nike. Zella activewear. On Cloud. Vineyard Vines. Kut from the Kloth. Cole Haan. Just to name a few. See my top picks from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale HERE.
I went into Nordstrom early in the sale and tried on quite a few things. You can watch the video reviews of all the products HERE. But here’s what I tried on in Nordstrom for the 2023 Anniversary Sale…
These two shackets are awesome and under $40!! They are a fleece fabric that is not itchy/scratchy like a lot of other shackets. They have pockets and are tailored for a flattering fit. Thread and Supply makes all of these but the one in the middle is a little longer. Both fit true to size and I’m wearing a small.
The left and right photos are both styled with the Spanx faux leather leggings. I can not rave about them enough! They are extremely snug but they are so flattering. They hold you in in all the right places 😉 The sheen in them is minimal and could be worn with sneakers or dressed up.
Far left and right: shacket (small) / Spanx leggings (small) / sliming tank (small) / mules (normal size 7)
Middle: shacket (small) / distressed denim (normal size 27) / sliming tank (small) / mules (normal size 7)
The Free People oversized sweater on the far left is such a cozy, oversized option for fall. It runs large so I would go down 1 size.
The gray sweater in the middle is fantastic! It’s a great lightweight, super soft knit. It is a ‘crop’ so I went up to a size medium which gives it more of a relaxed look instead of something so structured.
Far left: oversized sweater (x-small) / Spanx leggings (small) / mules
Middle: crop v-neck sweater (medium) / flare leg high rise denim (normal size 27)
Far right: cropped cardigan (medium) / chewed hem relaxed denim (normal size 27) / mules
This pullover, textured sweatshirt is perfect for coming and going from the gym or grocery store. It does not have pockets but it’s the perfect length for leggings or shorts. It runs true to size and I’m wearing a small.
The running shorts (on the left and right) are AWESOME! And for $25! What?! That’s a steal. I did go up 1 size (to a medium) due to the length. They are lined and have a pocket in the back waistband for a key.
These Dolce Vita everyday sneakers come in white and black. They fit like a glove and the inside is soft enough to wear them without socks. The laces don’t tie so they slip on your heel but that’s the style and they are soft and cozy on the inside of the back heel.
Far left and right: pullover (small) / everyday shorts (medium) black / everyday sneakers (normal size 7)
Middle: pullover (small) / super comfy biker shorts (small)
The dress on the left is hands down one of my favorite finds. I sized down one size to an XS and it fits perfectly. The softest chambray with the perfect details. The wasitband hits at just the right spot, not too high and not too low. And the length is perfect. This would make a great dress for a teacher or for the workplace. Paired with my favorite boots – my best purchase from the sale.
The dress on the right is another great one for a teacher. Again, size down one size. I’m wearing an XS. I put it with these great suede mules that are perfect for fall.
Far left: dress (size down one size) / boots (go up 1/2 to 1 full size)
Far right: dress (size down one size) / mules (run true to size)
The Dolce Vita Samare western boots are my #1 favorite thing I bought in the sale. They are absolutely gorgeous! The suede is extremely soft and doesn’t dig into your ankle when you walk. The details on the boots are sewn on with a white stitching that gives a gorgeous subtle accent. I did go up an entire size. The toe box is a bit snug and I knew I wanted to wear socks with them this winter. If you have narrow feet I would still recommend going up 1/2 size. If you foot is even slightly wide or you don’t like the feeling of your toes being snug, then go up a full size.
far left: shorts (old but linked similar) / sweater / boots
middle: leggings (Spanx faux leather – runs true to size) / sweater (old but linked similar) / boots
far right: dress (old but linked similar) / boots
